新州卫生厅得到昆州卫生厅的通知，一名确诊病例在6月1日至5日有传染性期间曾行经新州。
这个病例驾车从墨尔本去了昆州的阳光海岸，经停地点包括Gillenbah, Forbes, Dubbo 和 Moree，在若干地点使用了QR码签到。
